“Great job, Mr. Igwe!”

Midlands Health and Rehab would like to introduce and shed a bright light a very special person, Mr. Igwe Kodilinye!

Mr. Igwe came to Midlands after an approximately 1-week stay at MUSC Health Columbia with diagnoses of cholangitis and bacteremia. 

Upon arrival to Midland Mr. Igwe required a great deal of assistance with most activities of daily living. He initially presented with decreased safety awareness, decreased endurance, and a high fall risk. 

It was obvious upon admission that Mr. Igwe was a proud man and had no desire to want much assistance by anyone. He continued to work extremely hard during rehab sessions, focused on his balance/safety awareness deficits, and was able to return home with strong family support and home health services.
